Hello
We’re a results-driven, owner-operated property management business based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Most of the landlords we work with want to be hands-off, and they trust us to get things sorted without the runaround. You’ll deal directly with the property manager managing your property, not a rotating team. We focus on doing things properly, treating people with respect, and taking pride in every property we manage. Even Daisy, our office dog, plays her part in keeping things fun.

PROPERTY MANAGER
Selene Tan
I graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Science and began my career in quality assurance and food safety. Later, I moved into real estate, working in administration and commercial and industrial sales & leasing. That experience gave me a solid understanding of the property market, negotiation, and smooth day-to-day operations, all of which I bring to managing residential properties.
Growing up in a family of property investors, I understood what landlords truly value. When my family struggled to find a property manager who genuinely cared, it inspired me to start Vertex Property Management. What began as a service for friends and family has grown through word of mouth to a wider community seeking personalised, reliable management.
Being multilingual helps me connect with property owners and tenants from diverse backgrounds. I focus on minimising vacancies and maintenance costs through clear communication and a proactive approach.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking Daisy or exploring Christchurch’s local food spots, which is a great way to unwind and stay connected to the community.
